PERFECTION JUST GOT AN UPGRADE!
The original STAX SR-Lamda series was introduced over 36 years ago. The SR-L500MK2 has taken the excellent sound of the original series and combined it with a newly designed enclosure. The STAX SR-L500MK2 is an advanced Earspeaker that features tough stainless fixed electrodes and a hand-selected thin-film diaphragm. Expect the perfect balance of delicate treble, soothing mids and deep bass.
DESIGNED FOR LONG LISTENING SESSIONS
The SR-L500MK2 has been designed keeping comfort and long listening sessions in mind. The headband (ARC) has a 10-click slider mechanism that allows you to adjust the head pad's height. Once adjusted, the slider ensures that it stays put doing away with the need of constantly readjusting the height. The plush handcrafted earpads are made of high-quality synthetic leather that adds to the comfort as well as the sound performance.
CABLES THAT ARE DESIGNED FOR PERFECTION
The detachable cable uses HiFC™ (High-Performance Pure Copper) wires developed by Hitachi. These wires have the same sonic characteristics as the SR-009 and SR-L500's 6N high-purity 99.99999% copper wires. The cable is designed in a wide, flat format to reduce the capacitance between each wire and drive the SR-L500MK2 in a more effective manner.
